U4GM Fallout 76 Where to Farm Plastic Fast

Need plastic fast in Fallout 76? Farm Morgantown or Watoga High, loot cafeterias and gyms, then top up with Whitespring resort runs, CAMP collectors, and vendor bulk buys.
If plastic is the one thing you're always short on in Fallout 76, you're not alone. It disappears fast. Ammo eats it, grenades eat it, and CAMP projects somehow burn through it too. The good news is you don't need some weird, map-wide farming route to keep up. You just need a few reliable stops and a routine that doesn't feel like work. I usually start with schools because they're consistent, easy to clear, and packed with scrapable junk. If you're the type who likes to stay stocked on resources the same way some players use U4GM for quick help with game essentials, this approach fits nicely into regular play instead of turning the whole session into a chore.
Hit the schools firstMorgantown High School and Watoga High School are still two of the best places to farm plastic without overthinking it. Walk through the gym, cafeteria, and any party or decoration-heavy rooms. You'll find plastic plates, cups, utensils, pumpkins, and loads of throwaway junk that scraps into plastic. It doesn't look like much at first, but once you sweep the whole building and break everything down, the total adds up fast. That's the bit newer players often miss. One item here, two there, then suddenly you've got enough plastic to keep ammo crafting going for quite a while. If you've got time and don't mind repeating the route, server hopping makes the run even better.
Try resorts, clubs, and food spotsWhen the school route starts to feel stale, head to Whitespring. The golf club and nearby resort interiors are full of low-effort plastic sources. Pool balls are great. Golf balls too. You'll also spot toys, cups, and random bar clutter sitting around in lounges and rec areas. A lot of players rush past this stuff because it doesn't look important, but that's exactly why these places work. Smaller locations are worth checking as well. Roadside diners, motel kitchens, and camp canteens often hide more plastic than you'd expect. If there's a serving area or cheap dining setup, there's usually something useful on the tables. Just watch your carry weight, because junk farming goes from relaxing to annoying the second you start crawling toward the nearest bench.
Let your CAMP do part of the jobYou don't have to farm every single piece by hand. A CAMP placed over a junk pile can save you loads of effort over time. Drop an extractor on it and let it run while you're off doing events, daily ops, or vendor rounds. It won't flood you with plastic all at once, but that's not really the point. It's passive. That's what makes it good. A Collectron helps too, especially if it's bringing back toys, games, and other scrap junk. Check the bin whenever you log in, dump the haul into a workbench, and your stash starts building up in the background without much fuss.
Buy what you're missingSometimes the easiest answer is to spend caps and move on. Vendor bots, especially around Whitespring Mall, regularly stock bulk junk and useful scrap items, so if you're already doing a shopping loop, it's worth checking for plastic. This is especially handy when you're about to craft a big ammo batch and can't be bothered with another school run. A mix of scavenging, passive CAMP income, and smart shopping keeps things simple. And if you've built up a healthy pile of Fallout 76 Bottle Caps over time, buying the last bit you need can be a lot more appealing than spending another half hour digging through cafeteria trays.
