Some drops in ARC Raiders feel rare, and then there's the Rascal blueprint, which can make a normal farming session feel like a bad joke. If you're hunting it because you want to craft, trade, or just stop being stuck behind bad luck, it helps to treat the search the same way you'd plan a run for supplies or buy ARC Raiders Items when you're short on time: focus on value, not random wandering. Right now, there doesn't seem to be one clean, reliable spawn that everyone can camp. You're better off hitting locked rooms, security cabinets, raider caches, and other spots that already have a decent chance of carrying rare gear. It's not glamorous. It's repeat work, and yeah, it can be annoying.
Stop Farming One Corner of the MapA lot of newer players make the same mistake. They hear someone found the blueprint in one building, so they run that same building over and over until they're sick of looking at it. I get it. We've all done that once. The problem is that rare loot doesn't seem to respect that kind of thinking. A better plan is to build a route that lets you open several high-value containers in one run. Start with easy access points, move through secure rooms if you've got the key or tool for them, then leave before the raid turns into a scrap you didn't ask for. More chances per run usually beats praying over one cabinet.
Night Raids Feel Worth the RiskThere's no official button that says “Rascal blueprint drops here,” but plenty of players swear that night raids and tougher modifiers are worth doing. From my own runs, the loot pool does feel better when the match is less comfortable. You'll see more pressure, more noise, and more players trying the same idea, so don't go in half-awake. Bring enough ammo, keep your backpack realistic, and don't fight every shadow you see. The blueprint won't matter if you die three rooms away from extract. If you're solo, play slower than you think you need to. If you're in a squad, have one person watching while the others loot.
Know What the Rascal Is ForOnce the blueprint finally drops, don't make the mistake of treating the Rascal like it solves every fight. It doesn't. The weapon rewards quick decisions, decent aim, and knowing when to back off. It's not something you should drag into every open-field fight and expect magic. Use it in tight angles, messy pushes, and moments where a fast burst can punish someone before they settle in. Also, check what materials you'll need before you get too excited. Blueprints are only half the job in this game. You still need the parts, and those can become their own little headache if you haven't been saving.
Make Each Run CountThe smartest way to chase the Rascal blueprint is to combine patience with proper routing. Don't burn five hours doing the same dead run. Rotate loot areas, take harder raids when you're geared for them, and extract the moment your bag is worth protecting. That's how most players build real progress with rare gear and ARC Raiders weapons without turning the game into a miserable grind. You may still need a bit of luck, but at least you'll be giving yourself more rolls at the table instead of hoping one dusty locker finally feels generous.
